Earlier on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry had informed about six people getting infected with the new strain in various states.
After this, 14 more people have been confirmed to be infected with the new strain. According to the Ministry of Health, between 25 November and 23 December, 33 thousand passengers from Britain have arrived in India. Of these 114 people were found infected. Their samples have been sent to government laboratories for genome sequencing.
